Judith Ann Pavey joined the Firm in 2008, bringing a winning track record as one of the most experienced trial lawyers in Hawaii representing clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, product defect and professional malpractice. Ms. Pavey has won numerous multi-million dollar settlements and awards, including a recent $7.5 million dollar award medical malpractice verdict in federal district court.  Ms. Pavey continues her personal injury and medical malpractice, in addition to her commercial litigation cases.  Best Lawyers in America recognizes Ms. Pavey for Commercial Litigation, Litigation-Banking & Finance, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice.  Ms. Pavey has been recognized by Chambers USA in Commercial Litigation.  Ms. Pavey is a member of the American Board of Trial Lawyers and the American Inns of Court.

Joining the law firm in 2011, former Hawaii State Attorney General, Mark J. Bennett, has twice successfully argued before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Bennett has first-chaired numerous jury trials and has personally negotiated settlements and complex arrangements involving up to and including $1 billion. Mr. Bennett is recognized as a Top Listed, Top 25 Hawaii Super Lawyer.  Both Benchmark Litigation and Benchmark Appellate have named Mr. Bennett a Litigation Star.  Mr. Bennett is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and is on the board of directors for the Hawaii Chapter of the American Judicature Society.

John A. Sopuch III has represented a wide variety of clients in major commercial litigation matters, both on the plaintiff's side as well as the defense side.  Most recently, in 2008, Mr. Sopuch was lead counsel in a two-week trial in probate court in Hawaii where he represented a trustee of a multi-million dollar trust in a case that included claims seeking in excess of $40 million for, among other things, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.  After the case was tried and during deliberations, the matter was concluded with a favorable settlement.  Mr. Sopuch is recognized by Best Lawyers In America for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions-Plaintiffs and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions- Defendants.
