CURRENT OPENING: LITIGATION PARALEGAL
Location: Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher – Honolulu, HI
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
- Organize and maintain case files, including electronic document management.
- Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document production and review.
- File documents with courts and manage deadlines and calendars.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 with discretionary performance bonuses. Full-time, non-exempt.
