Andrew J. Lautenbach, a Director of the firm,concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes with a primary focus on resort development and lender litigation. Mr. Lautenbach received his law degree from University of San Francisco School of Law, Cum Laude, and has served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge David Alan Ezra and the Honorable Judge Helen Gillmor of the United States District Court for the District Court of Hawaii. Mr. Lautenbach has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible professional rating (AV Preeminent), and is licensed to practice before the courts of the State of Hawaii, the courts of the State of California, the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Lautenbach is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the American Bar Association, and has recently been named as a director of the Hawaii Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Stephanie E. W. Thompson, Senior Litigation Counsel, concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and real estate civil litigation. Ms. Thompson is a member of the Hawaii State Bar and holds Martindale-Hubbell’s BV Distinguished rating for both her skill and integrity. Ms. Thompson earned her law degree form the University of Hawaii at Manoa, William S. Richardson School of Law. Ms. Thompson clerked for the Honorable Victoria S. Marks of the Hawaii Circuit Court of the First Circuit.
